I always thought, and still think the idea of being an emo is rather cool. Well, it’s the latest trend / ‘in’ thing at the moment. Punk is so yesterday!
You know how emo just grab your attention without having to try hard and well, some of them actually do really look very unique.
So I told one of our Youth Ambassadors from Melbourne, about my idea and she replied, “Emos wear yucky black pants that are way too tight with purple belts and black hairdos and all sorts of strange attire. And tend to look all sullen while walking into you with their skateboards.”
Hmm.. I think it’ll be almost impossible for me to keep a sullen face for even just 5 minutes, let alone adopt it as a lifestyle! I have way too much serotonin and adrenaline! Speaking of which, I have the entire synthesis of adrenaline from L-Tyrosine nailed in my head.
So yeah, I thought that I will and can never be an emo. Sucks!
