Well, the wedding was crazy, and I’ve been missing in action for a few days. Today is catching up day with my friends because I have abandoned them for a few days.
Anyway, eastcoastlife and family came to pick me up at the airport and we went for dinner and around Singapore. It was very comforting to be smelling smoke from barbecue and stir-fry again, and the oily and humid environment totally makes me feel HOME.
I am also very honoured to be spending a night with eastcoastlife and her family, and it’s humbling to be witnessing this close-knitted, hilarious and warm family. There are love and honesty everywhere in the family, and most of all, understanding. :)
Thank you so much for the love, laughs, good food and hospitality, ecl. I *really* appreciate it a lot! THANK YOU!!

The whole road in Geylang is usually jammed at night due to the gawking at the chickens on parade. There is little available parking and it would be difficult to find a clean restroom.
