I should add to my previous post that I don’t think the tattoo process actually hurts because my grandfather was still able to talk on the phone with nyonyapenang and Calvin, eat ice-cream, chit chat, make jokes, etc during the whole process. I think it only hurts when it hits the bony parts.
Anyway, some of you might know I was training under one of Malaysia’s noted wedding photographer, Alvin Leong, for the past few months.

Alvin and Me
May I just say he is one of the best boss around with a very rich sense of humour and very outgoing and understanding! When we’re stressed editing photos, we can watch Youtube, or do anything we like, and not only does he allows that, sometimes, he joins in as well - provided he has the time!

Sze Chien, Carol, Alvin and Me
He makes us laugh our arses off in the office and/or studio, and makes every photoshoot as enjoyable as possible. There’s always laughters and smiles because he’ll find something to make you grin. He’s also very generous when it comes to teaching us! He teaches whatever he can offer.

It has been a truly wonderful experience being in the studio the past few months, as well as a few wedding photoshoots. Everyday, there’s something new to learn!
Sitting on the ladder is Me and Chris
The thing I’ll miss most about the studio is the bond we share. We laugh and joke together and sometimes, we all sing together. We’re all so close-knitted, it’s as if we’ve known each other forever especially me, Chris and Ah Soon (and occasionally Carol).

We’ll (me, Chris and Ah Soon) squeeze together in front of the computer at the studio after work and watch guaitan on Youtube, we go watch fireflies, we hang out together, bring food and share, lunch together, and of course, joke with each other when we’re bored. The studio is just rarely quiet when we’re around!

It’s just been a really very amazing experience, and to watch Alvin Leong in action is truly an honour! Check out his pictures and I can assure you that you’ll fall in love with his work! Or check out his Facebook for more pictures.

Thank you sooooo incredibly much, Alvin! :)
