After the famous heat-wave which hits once in every 3,000 years a few weeks ago, making Adelaide the hottest city in the whole Australia, autumn followed up right next to it. It was a big jump in terms of the weather and temperature I must say, from the near 40s to the below 20s.

It’s been raining these few days, which is good. It is an anticipated and very much needed rain, but it just isn’t enough.

Oh, how I wish I can see rain again, and just to hear the sounds of rain hitting the roof brings comfort. The rain cuts down the suicide rate (there was a high rate of suicide amongst farmers due to the lack of rain - it’s a depressing news)! And the smell, the sound and just the sight of rain is a great reminder of home, where I came from - a beautiful tropical place with rain every once in a while. It’s almost magical I must say.

I have been pretty busy with assignments and such and I haven’t actually found the motivation to blog. And more and more people are reading my blog which makes me feel a tad uncomfortable - especially to know that there are people who you might not want to read this blog, is actually reading it.

And so, after having a good think about it over the weekend, I’ve decided to stop writing. This blog will still be here, and everything will still stay but I wouldn’t be updating anymore. I have a few other authors for this blog, so if they want to write anything, that’s totally none of my business. I’ll leave this blog as it is until the domain and hosting expires end of this year.

Having said that, I am glad I have met so many of you wonderful people who have made my life so much richer. And of course, especially those who have put up with me in their own home like the super duper friendly, elegant and wonderful eastcoastlife and family and the Angeles, the lady who has a heart of gold and is truly an angel in the form of human, who drove like an hour to the airport to pick me up, and drove me around when I am in KL. Of course, not forgetting May who I have met twice and both times, she gets more and more pleasant. She has this warmthness and radiates and you just can never get enough of her smile!! She’s like a sunshine. LB, what to say? He’s funny and he’s everywhere! He is contagious and he makes you laugh at the silliest thing ever making complicated life so simple and simple life complicated. Do I make sense? He’s someone you want to have around!

Carcar, the very first blogger I’ve met. She’s an all round happy-go-lucky, lovely and elegant woman. Her hardwork will blow you away. She’s motivated and a person who have so much smile and friendliness to offer. She’s just one of the friendliest I’ve ever met! Nyonyapenang, Uncle Cocka, King’s Wife, Winn, Sengkor and LaundryAmah. Oh, I met this group of people all at once and can I say these people have got life! They’re the people you want in your life. You know those moments when you laugh so hard you run out of breath or your stomach aches? These are the people behind it especially the drama queen LaundryAmah. Dr Chen is the quiet, smart and friendly person you never know will make some funny jokes too. She is quiet but she is someone who treasures things important in life like friends. :)

Cal, although when I first met him, I don’t read his blog, but he is still a blogger. :P He’s friendly, and he’s someone who is considerate and very understanding. He listens to what you have to say, but most of all, when you’re lost in a conversation, he’s the one who takes the effort to explain to you the whole thing. My grandfather, what can I say? He’s my family, and someone who spoils his grandson. He drives me around, pick me up, send me here and there, trust me with his car, and introduce me to some really very friendly people.

These are all strangers, people I have never met or spoken with, just random strangers I get to know on the net but they sincerely buy me food, buy me drinks, accommodate me, accept me and meet me when I visit their city/country. Blogging has made me a very different person and what an honour to have met all these wonderful people.

With that, I wish you all well and I cannot thank you all enough for visiting my blog, and for accommodating me.
