So, prepared for a downhill roller-coaster ride on Monday, I.. actually, I take that back. Not prepared for a downhill roller-coaster ride on Monday, I decided to just close my eyes and do whatever I can when the situation comes. I called and messaged a few people to ask if they can help me cover either of the things I had to do but they either has class, don’t know how to do it, or they don’t have the equipment(s) required to do it.

So I thought, worse comes to worse, I’ll just have my reputation tainted by skipping either my errand or the interview.

Then, I got a message from Miss World and she has no problem pushing the time an hour late.

By then, I was all smiley and headed for uni. I check the mailbox on my way to the bus stop as I normally do, and the mailman walked over and asked if I’m staying at Unit 20, which I am, and he handed me a parcel - which is my Oakley M frame sunnies I ordered online. Woo hoo!

So it was all good news and a day. I got what I want and I did what I had to.

Is she drop-dead gorgeous or what? I have interviewed a professor and South Australian of the Year, but she has to be the most inspiring woman I have spoken to.

There’s a stigma around beauty queen living in a million dollar life, and having all good things attracted to them, but hers definitely wasn’t. To know where she came from, and the amount of things she had to do to get to where she is right now, will blow you away.

The interview was 20 mins but we spent more than an hour talking about our own lives. What an amazing experience!

But now, I should get back to my Pharmacology assignment; otherwise, I don’t get sleep tonight.
