Boys don’t cry is a story about extreme discrimination. It’s a story about a big important issue in today’s world. It’s such a strong movie it makes you stop, think and grieve for 2 minutes after the movie is over.

Hilary Swank did such an amazing job, and it is no wonder she won so many awards because of this movie!

Boys don’t cry is a real life story about Brandon played by Hilary Swank, who is a transgender, except he hasn’t gone through the sex change. No one knew about it except her cousin. Brandon befriended a group of friends and moved to Falls City with them. There, he fell in love with Lana and they soon got together.

When the guys found out that Brandon was a female, things took a big turn.

It’s not an easy movie to watch, I must say, to know how cruel humans can be on the weak. And how inhumane they can be, and to know that this is a true story, it’s makes you cringe. It’s a powerful movie in many levels.

Discrimination is dirty and freaking ridiculous!
