Hi! :)

It’s weird trying to tell yourself in the least words possible, but I’ll try to talk about what I do at the moment. :)

I’m Ehon, a 16 year old (since 2002) Malaysian stranded in Adelaide, in my final year of Bachelor of Medical Science at Flinders University of South Australia, doing a double major in Neuroscience and Physiology and Pharmacology and Toxicology.

I’m a Youth Ambassador for Reach Out! (www.reachout.com.au), a website dedicated to provide information, support and resources to improve young people’s understanding of mental health issues, develop resilience, increase coping skills, and facilitate help-seeking behaviour.

I believe that everyone goes through life’s ups and downs but some people are luckier than the other. Everyone has a mental health issue at some point of their life and suicide is a major issue that shouldn’t be taken lightly. It affects more people than you can imagine.

I tutor two first year Biology topics (Molecular Basis of Life; and Evolution of Biological Diversity) at Flinders University under the School of Biological Sciences.

I love travelling, culture, food and anything that involves adrenaline. I love people. I love their stories - why they dress, feel, love, hate, walk, live the way they do. I’m a bit of a random, really.
